Our roots
For more than 17 years, Darena Health has supported hundreds of EHR vendors, health systems, and healthcare organizations through ASTP/ONC certification, MIPS reporting, the 21st Century Cures Act, and the transition to FHIR-based interoperability.
That work built deep fluency in:

A standards-first approach to healthcare AI
AI in healthcare must operate within the realities of certified EHR systems, FHIR APIs, audit requirements, and evolving federal mandates. FHIR changed healthcare interoperability by being built on widely adopted web technologies such as REST, JSON, and OAuth. That decision lowered the barrier to integration and created a scalable foundation for application development across certified systems.
Emerging protocols such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP) define how AI agents securely connect to structured data sources. Agent-to-Agent (A2A) enables coordinated interaction between intelligent systems. By aligning FHIR-based data access with MCP and A2A-driven agent connectivity, Prompt Opinion ensures that AI systems are interoperable, secure, and designed for integration rather than isolation.
